Nvidia’s getting a bit too rapid with its graphics driver updates these days. In fact, we’d quite like them to slow down. It’s only been a few a matter of days since the GeForce 416.81 driver and now the GeForce 416.94 WHQL GPU driver is ready and waiting for GeForce owners to download.

The GeForce 416.94 is the official launch driver for Battlefield V, including all the day one Game Ready optimisations and assorted guff. If you’re planning to play BF5, this is the driver you’ll be wanting to have.

It’s not all about DICE’s shooter though. A couple of other big titles have released this week and Nvidia has provided official graphics card driver support for the pair of them – Fallout 76 and Hitman 2. We’ve already benchmarked both of those games on Nvidia graphics cards so, er, hopefully not too much has changed.

As it’s only been a handful of days, any other changes are actually few and far between for the 416.94 graphics card driver. There are 3D Vision profiles for both Fallout 76 and Hitman 2 if you’re still clinging onto a 3D monitor, as well as a single solitary fix – the GeForce GTX 780 should no longer lag while engaging in any desktop activity.

The list of known issues is a little longer, so just have a quick glance down these before you hurry and download the Battlefield V recommended driver.

GeForce 416.87 WHQL GPU Driver Known Issues

[GeForce GTX 1080 Ti][Hitman 2][DirectX 11]: The game screen turns black after launching the game if Windows HDR is enabled. [GeForce GTX 1080Ti]: Random DPC watchdog violation error when using multiple GPUs on motherboards with PLX chips.[GeForce GTX 780]: Activity on the desktop lags. [SLI][HDR][Battlefield 1]: With HDR enabled, the display turns pink after changing the refresh rate from 144 Hz to 120 Hz using in-game settings. [Firefox]: Cursor shows brief corruption when hovering on certain links in Firefox. [G-Sync]: G-sync may not disengage after exiting games.

You know the drill by now – the GeForce 399.07 driver can be downloaded directly from Nvidia here, or simply auto-updated through your current GeForce Experience installation.
